Guwahati, 02 April (HS): Tension flared in Assam’s Jalukbari constituency after alleged Congress workers attacked BJP supporters at Maligaon of Guwahati, leaving four people injured.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Maligaon under the Jalukbari constituency, where a group of Congress workers reportedly assaulted BJP workers during a confrontation. The clash led to injuries to at least four BJP supporters.

The injured individuals were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable.

Police sources said that the situation is currently under control, and an investigation has been initiated into the incident. Further details are awaited.----------
