April 19 (HS): Uttar Pradesh government's Industrial Development Minister Nand
Gopal Gupta Nandi has written a letter to Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh
regarding the beautification and construction of gates at ancient and vibrant
religious sites in Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency. In the letter,
Minister Nandi has proposed the beautification of ancient temples associated
with the faith of thousands of people. Minister Nandi stated that funds will
soon be released by the Tourism Department for the beautification of these
temples.
In
the letter sent to the Tourism Minister, Minister Nandi has written for the
beautification of the very ancient Masurian Devi Mata Temple located near Kydganj
Parade Ground, beautification and gate construction of the ancient Hanuman
Temple located at Mutthiganj Tilak Road, beautification of the ancient Ram
Janaki Temple located at Krishnanagar, beautification of the ancient Bandar
Shivala Temple located at Tripolia, beautification of Santoshi Mata Temple
located at Bharti Bhawan Road, beautification and gate construction of Shani
Dev Temple located at Naini, beautification and gate construction of Manokamna
Temple located at Naini ADA A Block, beautification of Mata Bela Rani Temple
located at Naini village, beautification of Kali Mata Temple located at Naini
Chakbhatai Patel Basti and beautification of Kali Mata Temple located at Naini
Sabji Mandi.
Minister
Nandi stated that the Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency is home to
numerous ancient and highly ancient temples, which are visited by large numbers
of devotees on normal days, during festivals, and during the Magh Mela and Kumbh
Mela. Due to their proximity to the Sangam region, a proposal has been
submitted to beautify the ancient temples in the Prayagraj City South Assembly
constituency. Previously, a proposal was submitted to beautify the ancient
Bholegiri Temple in Katghar. The Tourism Department has released Rs. 1.87 crore
for the beautification and construction work has also begun.
