April 19 (HS): The written re-examination of Assistant Professor (Advertisement

No.-51) of 16 subjects (Horticulture, Military Science/Defence Studies,

Drawing, Home Science, Sanskrit, History, Mathematics, Geography, Statistics,

Psychology, Economics, Political Science, Ancient History, Commerce, Music

Sitar/Instrumental, Physics) organized by Uttar Pradesh Education Service

Selection Commission was held on Sunday in the first shift from 09:30 am to

11:30 am and in the second shift from 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm at 50 examination

centers of 06 districts (Agra, Meerut, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur and

Varanasi).

From

the AI Integrated Control Command Room established in the Commission, in the

presence of the Commission's Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar, members, Secretary,

Controller of Examinations and Deputy Secretary, all the examination centres

were closely monitored and the activities of the candidates taking the

examination were continuously monitored through AI cameras installed at the

examination centres. The examination was conducted smoothly, without cheating,

in a clean, timely, safe and hassle-free manner at all the examination centres

of the state.

Along

with inspecting the examination centres of Prayagraj by the Chairman and senior

most member of the Commission, in the sequence of innovative experiments by the

Commission, in view of transparency, under the pilot project, immediately after

completion of the examination per shift at the 5 designated examination centres

of Prayagraj, the process of scanning of the answer sheets (OMR) used by the

candidates was done in their examination rooms in the presence of the room

invigilator and the candidates and after scanning, the process of saving the

scanned data immediately was completed, out of which the process was reviewed

by the Chairman of the Commission himself by being present at 03 examination

centres 1-Mary Wanamaker Girls Intermediate College, Prayagraj, 2- Colonelganj

Inter College Tagore Town, Prayagraj and 3- Prayag Mahila Vidyapeeth Inter

College, Civil Lines, Prayagraj.

Active

cooperation of the officials of the concerned district administration was

received in the said examination. A total of 19718 candidates appeared in the

written examination on 18th April, 2026, in which the percentage of female

candidates was 41.35 and that of male candidates was 58.64 and a total of 19474

candidates appeared in the written examination of 19th April, 2026, in which

the percentage of female candidates was 30.93 and that of male candidates was

69.07, thus a total of 39192 candidates appeared in the written examination of

18th and 19th April, 2026.

Uttar

Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission conducted the written

re-examination of Assistant Professor (Advertisement No.-51) on 19th April 2026

for 16 subjects at 50 centers in 6 districts. The exam was held in two shifts

from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. All the examination centres

were closely monitored through AI cameras from the AI Integrated Control

Command Room of the Commission, due to which the examination remained free from

cheating, fair and organised. As part of the pilot project in Prayagraj, OMR

sheets were scanned at five centers immediately after the exam in the presence

of candidates and invigilators, ensuring transparency. Commission Chairman Dr.

Prashant Kumar personally reviewed the process at three centers. A total of

39,192 candidates appeared for the written examination held on 18th and 19th

April 2026. 19,718 candidates (41.35% female, 58.64% male) appeared on 18th

April and 19,474 candidates (30.93% female, 69.07% male) appeared on 19th

April.
