
Bhubaneswar, 05 March (H.S.): Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Odisha today on a two-day visit to the state.
Shah will reach Bhubaneswar this evening and is set to attend the CISF Foundation Day celebrations at Mundali in Cuttack on Friday morning.
During his visit, the Union Minister will lay the foundation stone for the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) at Jatni in Khurda district. He will also virtually inaugurate the NFSU Transit Campus in Bhubaneswar.
Later in the day, Shah will inaugurate an exhibition on the new criminal laws, including the Nyaya Sanhita, and lay the foundation stones as well as inaugurate several development projects at the IDCO Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar.
In preparation for his visit to the CISF Foundation Day event, authorities have directed that the Godisahi–Mundali Road be black-topped, illuminated, cleaned, and beautified.
Meanwhile, the Bhubaneswar–Cuttack Police Commissionerate has issued a traffic advisory in view of Shah’s two-day visit to ensure smooth movement and security arrangements.
