05 March (HS): According to authorities, a 32-year-old man killed himself with
a country-made pistol on Thursday after being furious that his wife had not
been home in over ten months. According to reports, the man died on the scene
about 11 p.m. on Wednesday in Punhera village after consuming alcohol. Locals
informed police that Dushyant had been stressed for some months owing to family
concerns. His wife had been living at her parents' house for about ten months
and had not returned, which apparently bothered him, they added.
After
getting information regarding the event, a Jalesar police squad arrived at the
area and conducted an investigation. A country-made pistol was discovered at
the location. According
to Station House Officer Amit Kumar, the body was taken into custody and submitted
for a post-mortem examination. Initially, it looks to be a suicide case, but
the specific cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem
examination, he noted.
