Gorakhpur, 04 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath, while traditionally inaugurating the Holi festival at the
Gorakhnath Temple, said that Holi festival is a festival of social harmony,
enthusiasm, and joy. Festivals of joy and enthusiasm are celebrated only when
there is peace, harmony in society, a sense of security, and trust. Today,
Uttar Pradesh and the entire country have moved forward with this belief. Yogi
Adityanath wished all Indians a happy Holi and stated that there is no tension,
terror, disorder, or hooliganism in Uttar Pradesh today. Everyone is confident
and has trust. Everyone has a sense of mutual regard. This sentiment and faith
are crucial to the Ram Rajya philosophy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also
claims that if such a circumstance exists, India would grow quickly.
Speaking to media persons at the Gorakhnath temple
complex on Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that by
preserving the thousands of years old legacy of Holi, handed down by India's
sage tradition and ancestors, the present generation is carrying it forward
with the same zeal and enthusiasm. He said that today, people from every
section of society, every Sanatani, across the state is feeling joy by
associating with this holy festival. If there is any discord or animosity
anywhere, efforts are being made to establish a harmonious society by
eliminating it.
CM Yogi said that all Holika Dahan events in the state
were completed safely. Holika Dahan events were held peacefully and
enthusiastically at more than 161,000 locations across the state. Naturally,
Holika Dahan is an occasion to commemorate the important Narasimha incarnation
of Lord Vishnu. He said that wherever there is anarchy, chaos, and unrest in
society, divine incarnations provide a new inspiration to suppress it, to
protect the virtuous and defeat the wicked, to encourage positive sentiments,
and to eliminate negative sentiments. These incarnations appear before us in
some form or another in every era. If we all, in their likeness, faithfully
fulfill our roles as Prahlad, Shabari, or Arjun, then positive forces will be
strengthened, and negative forces will be defeated and automatically vanquished.
The Chief Minister
said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are
witnessing a new India today, an India that is rapidly progressing towards
becoming a developed India. Today's India, under PM Modi's leadership, has
firmly become a part of the process of heritage and development. We can all
feel proud that we have received PM Modi's illustrious guidance and leadership
in the turbulent times of independence Amrit Kaal. Under his leadership, India
is realizing the vision of a developed and self-reliant India. CM Yogi extended
Holi greetings to all citizens and hoped that future generations will continue
to celebrate this sacred festival of harmony with the same enthusiasm and zeal
for eternity.
