New Delhi, 29 March (H.S.):

Prime Minister Narendra Modi voiced deep concern over the global strife and mounting energy crisis Sunday in the 132nd episode of his monthly radio show Mann Ki Baat, urging Indians to ignore rumors, stick to official sources, and stay united amid petrol and diesel supply disruptions.

He highlighted how international conflicts, particularly in the Gulf, are hitting energy availability hard, with India leveraging diplomatic ties to navigate the turmoil. Modi thanked Gulf nations for aiding over 10 million Indians there and warned against politicizing the issue that affects 1.4 billion people—no room for self-serving games.

The PM slammed rumor-mongers as harmful to the nation, calling for trust in government updates alone as West Asia's war disrupts worldwide fuel chains and sparks shortages in multiple countries.
