Guwahati, 29 March (HS): BJP National President Nitin Naveen is on a visit to Assam on Sunday to participate in the party’s election campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. He has reached Dibrugarh to take part in a series of political engagements aimed at strengthening the party’s outreach.

During his visit, Naveen is going to attend the Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme along with party leaders at the Mohanbari Airport premises. He is also scheduled to address a public rally at Ledo Bazaar High School playground in Margherita constituency in support of sitting MLA Bhaskar Sharma.

Additionally, he will campaign in Jonai, addressing another rally at Jonai HS School playground in favour of sitting MLA Bhuben Pegu. Later, Naveen will interact with party workers from Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts at a programme in Gogamukh.

He will stay overnight at the Gogamukh Guest House. Notably, senior BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, are actively campaigning across Assam, reflecting the party’s strong focus on the elections.----------
