Guwahati, 28 March (HS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati on Saturday to take part in the ongoing campaign for the Assam Assembly elections.

He was accorded a warm reception upon his arrival at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, where party President Dilip Saikia and other leaders and supporters welcomed him.

The senior BJP leader is visiting the state to strengthen the party’s campaign efforts ahead of the assembly polls, during which he is expected to participate in public meetings, roadshows and strategic discussions with party functionaries.----------
