Air India, Air India Express to Operate 26 Flights to West Asia Today


New Delhi, March 25 (H.S.): Tata Group-led airlines Air India and Air India Express will together operate a total of 26 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region on Tuesday. The information was shared by Air India in a post on X.

The airline said both carriers will continue their scheduled services to Jeddah, with a total of eight flights operating between India and Jeddah.

According to the airline, Air India will operate one return flight each from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will operate one flight each from Kozhikode and Mangaluru. In addition, Air India Express will operate four scheduled flights to Muscat, including services from Delhi and Mumbai. It will also operate four scheduled flights from Bengaluru and Kozhikode to Riyadh. Air India will also operate two scheduled flights between Mumbai and Riyadh.

Apart from regular services, Air India and Air India Express will operate a total of eight additional non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), depending on slot availability and operational conditions.

The airline said all these flights are being operated with necessary approvals from the concerned Indian and local regulatory authorities. Air India also clarified that its flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia and other regions will continue to operate as per schedule.

Passengers booked on routes where regular services have been temporarily suspended have been given the option to reschedule their travel to a future date without additional charges or opt for full refunds.

Air India Express passengers who have booked travel from any UAE station can also rebook without additional charges on the airline’s extra commercial flights operating from UAE stations to destinations in India.
