Guwahati, 24 March (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed confidence that the upcoming Assembly elections would deliver a historic mandate in favour of the BJP-led alliance.

Addressing party members at the state BJP office last night, the Chief Minister said that the people of Assam have extended unprecedented support and blessings, which would translate into a decisive and historic victory for the alliance. He emphasized that the overwhelming public response reflects strong faith in the government’s policies and leadership.

Sarma further noted that despite continuous rainfall, people did not withdraw from the party’s outreach programmes and yatras, highlighting their commitment and enthusiasm. He described the public participation as a clear indication of growing support across the state.

Reiterating the government’s commitment, the Chief Minister said that the BJP would repay the people’s trust with accelerated development and progress. He also participated in a key meeting at the state BJP headquarters to review election strategies and preparations.----------
