Mumbai, 24 Mar (HS): The first fleet of Rajmata

Jijau buses for Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) have been

dedicated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Mumbai’s Vidhan Bhavan

premises. The buses with modern facilities, will start serving the people from

Tuesday.

Deputy Chief Ministers eknath Shinde and Sunetra

Pawar, Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, Environment Minister Pankaja Munde,

School Education Minister Dada Bhuse, Minister of State Madhuri Misal, Senior

Manager of Ashok Leyland John Mathew, Sushant Naik of Tata Motors and others

were present.

N phases 3,000 Rajmata Jijau buses will be added to

MSRTC’s fleet of buses.

Fadnavis, Shinde and Pawar performed the puje and

cut ribbon to launch the buses. Prominent persons then experienced the first

ride in the bus.
