Lucknow, 23

March (HS): On

the fifth day of Chaitra Navratri 2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi

Adityanath paid his respects to Maa Skandamata, the fifth form of Goddess

Durga, and prayed for her blessings to bring happiness, prosperity, and peace.

On social media, he emphasized the goddess' Vatsalya (maternal

affection) and expressed his desire for a tranquil world. CM Yogi hoped that

Maa Skandamata's maternal tenderness, which represents motherhood and

compassion, will illuminate everyone's life. The day is historically dedicated

to the worship of Goddess Skandamata in order to achieve spiritual and material

power.

Simhasanagata

Nityam Padmashritakardvaya. Good wishes always, Goddess Skandmata Yashaswini.

May the shadow of 'Vatsalya' of Maa Skandamata, the fifth form of Maa Durga,

always remain on the world. This is my prayer that there should be prosperity,

happiness, peace and good fortune everywhere. Jai Maa Skandamata!
