
Jorhat (Assam), 23 March (HS): Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi offered prayers at the Tarajan Mosque in Jorhat on Monday morning before proceeding to file his nomination for the Jorhat Assembly constituency.
Gogoi is set to submit his nomination papers later in the day, marking a significant moment in the electoral process as it coincides with the final day of nomination filing. His visit to the mosque to seek blessings drew attention from party supporters and local residents.
Meanwhile, several Congress leaders across Assam are also filing their nominations at respective district headquarters on the last day. Among them is Dispur constituency Congress candidate Mira Borahakur, who is completing her nomination process alongside other party nominees.------------
