Kolkata, March 23 (H.S.): CPI(M) leader and Left Front chairman Biman Bose on Monday criticised the Trinamool Congress government following the death of a man at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, allegedly due to poor infrastructure.
According to reports, a middle-aged man died after falling while going to the toilet inside the hospital premises, triggering anger among his family members.
Reacting to the incident, Bose said, “A man has died at RG Kar Hospital. The West Bengal government claims that all hospitals are super-speciality facilities, but the condition of RG Kar has deteriorated significantly. The government should take serious steps.”
On being asked about AIMIM’s alliance with AJUP ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections, Bose said that any political party has the freedom to form alliances.
