Mar (HS): Three of a family died as their car and a private bus collided near

Manchar in Pune district on Pune-Nashik Highway. The accident occurred on

Sunday night, when Mallikarjun Ambagave, with his family was returning home ion

Pimri-Chinchwad after attending a function in Nashik. The car lost control and

jumped the road divider to hit a bus coming from the opposite direction. Te bus

was moving towards Nashik from Pune.

The deceased

have been identified as Mallikarjun Ambegave, his wife Arati and mother Lata

Tuplonche. His son and daughter received injuries and have been admitted to a

hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been referred for the post-mortem.

Further investigation

has been initiated.
