Guwahati, 23 March (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma witnessed an overwhelming response from the public as he resumed the second phase of his Jan Ashirwad Yatra from the Jalukbari constituency, with lakhs of people turning up in support despite inclement weather.

The yatra saw massive gatherings across areas, with enthusiastic supporters braving heavy rainfall to catch a glimpse of the CM, turning the entire stretch into a sea of people. The unprecedented turnout reflected strong public backing, as people from all walks of life came forward to extend their blessings.

Slogans such as “Aahise Aahise, Himanta Aahise” and “Aakou Ebaar Modi Sarkar” echoed throughout the rally, showcasing high energy and political fervour among the public. Many supporters expressed deep emotional connect, referring to the Chief Minister as a beloved leader and even likening his visit to the arrival of a revered figure at their homes.
