Kolkata, 02 March (H.S.): Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday alleged that the law and order situation in West Bengal has worsened. The people of the state are suffering from the misrule of Mamata Banerjee. Under the Trinamool Congress government, which gave the slogan of Maa, Manush, and Mati, today the mother is bleeding, the soil is soaked in blood, and the human being is suffering.
In a statement here, Shivraj said that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) stands for oppression, mafia, and corruption. He said that T stands for torture and tragedy, M for money, murder, and mafia, and C for corruption, crime, and cruelty.
He said that atrocities and injustice against women and sisters and daughters have increased. The policy of infiltration and appeasement has sparked riots in Bengal. It is unfortunate that Hindus have to seek permission to celebrate festivals. The politics of appeasement encourages goons. The people of Bengal will no longer tolerate this.
He said that corruption has robbed young people of their jobs in West Bengal. The teacher recruitment scam ruined the futures of thousands of young people. Scams also occurred in municipal and local body recruitments. Employment opportunities were snatched away, and dishonesty was committed in recruitment. Even the remaining opportunities were given to infiltrators. The unemployment allowance is just a gimmick before the elections, but young people will no longer be misled. The youth have now resolved to bring about change in Bengal.
Shivraj said that the TMC has not one, but many people like Sheikh Shahjahan, who tamper with the identity of sisters and daughters. The lack of women's dignity is a matter of concern. It is now essential to protect the self-respect and dignity of women, and the Bharatiya Janata Party government will ensure this protection.
