March (HS): In compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Railways and
the Cabinet Secretariat, a special seminar was organized today at the North
Central Railway (NCR) Headquarters for the recitation and discussion of the
Seva Sankalp Resolution. The program was held at Vindhya Hall at
11:00 hours, chaired by the Additional General Manager J.S. Lakra. The
Seva Sankalp Resolution was originally passed by the Union Cabinet
during its historic first meeting at the new Prime Minister's Office, 'Seva
Teerth,' on February 24, 2026. During the event held at the North Central
Railway Headquarters, AGM JS Lakra recited the resolution, which emphasizes the
following points:
Citizen-Centric Governance: A commitment to the
spirit of 'Nagrik Devo Bhava,' ensuring that every decision is inspired by a
sense of service toward 1.4 billion citizens.
Antyodaya: Simplifying the life of the last person
in the country through transparent and accountable governance.
Viksit Bharat 2047: Reaffirming the national
resolve to make India a prosperous, capable, and self-reliant nation by 2047.
Modern Work Culture: Adopting infrastructure and
methodology that promotes dynamism instead of stagnation and solutions instead
of doubt.
Following the recitation of the resolution,
discussions were held on the methods of implementing this resolution in
accordance with the roles of various railway departments and offices. On this
occasion, senior officers shared their views on integrating the spirit of the
resolution within the framework of North Central Railway. Those who expressed
their views included Mudit Chandra, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Atul Kumar Mishra, Deputy General Manager
(General), Shashikant Tripathi, Chief Public Relations Officer, Akhil Shukla,
Secretary to the General Manager, Anuj Katiyar, Deputy General Manager (Law), Gunjan
Srivastava, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer, Krishna Kant, Deputy Chief
Vigilance Officer, Harish Kumar, Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer etc.
The speakers highlighted that the work culture of
North Central Railway will be driven by the confluence of duty, service,
and dedication, further accelerating the pace of the 'Reform Express'. The
program was conducted by Yatharth Pandey, Senior Rajbhasha Adhikari. Various
officers and employees of North Central Railway were present at the event.
