March (HS): Connecting the residents of Prayagraj with each other in literary
and cultural terms, Prayagraj Naagrik Seva Sansthan performs the responsibility
of creating an atmosphere of historical and social harmony festival Holi by
organizing a beautiful Hammer procession every year on the eve of Holika Dahan.
On Monday, with great enthusiasm, dancing to Dhol Tasha Band Baja Bhangra and
DJ, bursting firecrackers the procession passed through various localities.
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, who was present as the
chief guest, while addressing the Hammer procession said that Sanatan culture
is the best culture in the world, in which such programs add to the glory of
Indian culture and awaken the spirit of cooperation among the people and Indian
tradition. Special guest Tina Maa described India as a country of festivals and
said that no program of Indian culture is complete without spirituality.
On the occasion of the commencement of the procession,
Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, Kaushalya Nand Giri (Tina Maa), former Commissioner RS
Verma, DCP Manish Kumar, Anil Gupta (Annu Bhaiya) and program coordinator
Sanjay Singh worshipped the prestigious groom Raja Hathoda as per the rituals
and applied kajal from Kajrauta, garland decoration and congratulations were
done, after that Musar Chumavan and Lodhwa Ghumavan were performed and Aarti
was performed with a lantern and the evil eye was removed by taking blessings
from the groom Raja.
The main attraction of the program was the pumpkin
bhadan of kurtis done by Sanjay Singh. Program coordinator Sanjay Singh honored
the guests by giving them clothes and mementos and thanked everyone. The
program was presided over by OP Gupta and conducted by program coordinator Sanjay
Singh and public relations councilor Neeraj Gupta.
Giving the above information, the media in-charge
of the organization, Councilor Pawan Srivastava said that the respected
journalist brothers were also welcomed and congratulated. On the said occasion,
Bhalchandra Kushwaha, Shyam Sundar Patel, former councilor Kanhaiyalal Gupta,
councilor Digvijay Kushwaha, Gopinath Saraf, Om Prakash Agarwal, Nikhil
Kesarwani, Vinod Sonkar, Anoop Kesarwani, Rinku Verma, Kaushal Singh, Ratnesh Kumar
Atisi, Kaithwas, Harjinder Pal, Amit Gupta along with prominent businessmen of
the city and local people were present in large numbers.
