(HS): On the occasion of Holi festival, on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Governor

Anandiben Patel met Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister of State for

Higher Education Rajni Tiwari, along with other public representatives, senior

administrative and police officers, university vice-chancellors and eminent

citizens at Jan Bhawan and extended warm greetings of Holi.

On this occasion, the Governor extended her

heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone for the festival of Holi,

wishing them happiness, peace, and prosperity. She said that you must have all

read the secrets and facts behind Holi. Those in society who always aim for

good deeds never harbor negative thoughts. Everyone should abandon their inner

vices and evils and work for the benefit of society with a positive mindset.

The Governor stated that many constructive works

have been carried out at Jan Bhavan over the past few years, and that many

important initiatives will be undertaken in the future. She urged the officers

and employees present to think positively about the future of their families

and children and strive to move forward with changing times. She said that

today, there are far more opportunities and facilities available for education

and development than ever before, and they should take advantage of them.

The Governor said that the children here actively

participate in various programs held at Jan Bhavan. Efforts should be made for

their all-round development. She added that an ISRO lab was recently

inaugurated at Adarsh Secondary School, Jan Bhavan, where young children will

have the opportunity to gain knowledge about science and space.

The Governor said that in the near future, the

foundation day celebrations of Bihar and Rajasthan will be held at Jan Bhavan. She

expected the officers and employees to actively participate in these events and

gain knowledge about the history and cultural heritage of the various states.

Referring to her recent visit to Gujarat, the

Governor discussed the work of Dholavira and the Banas Dairy. She said that

Dholavira was a highly developed city approximately three thousand years ago,

which even then boasted state-of-the-art facilities. Today, researchers from

around the world are visiting the site for research. She suggested that a film

be made on the Dholavira and Banaskantha Dairies, so that people could learn

about India's ancient and modern achievements.

The Governor said that Banas Dairy products are

being exported to many countries today, and extensive work is being done in the

field of animal husbandry there. She also highlighted the importance of cattle,

saying that various resources obtained from cows are being widely utilized.

Earlier, the Special Officer to the Governor

(Additional Chief Secretary level) Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde along with all the

officers, employees and their families working in Jan Bhavan met the Governor

at Jan Bhavan and wished her Happy Holi. Addressing the programme, Special

Officer Dr. Sudhir extended warm greetings of Holi to the people present. He

said that the Jan Bhavan family has a tradition of working with mutual love,

harmony and team spirit. Under the guidance and inspiration of the Governor,

this team will continue to set new standards.

He said that the

unprecedented work accomplished at Jan Bhavan over the past three to four years

is thanks to the Governor's leadership and the collective efforts of all staff.

He added that projects such as the construction of an ideal secondary school at

Jan Bhavan and the creation of a replica of Gangotri to Gangasagar are

underway, which will be a unique initiative for the entire state of Uttar

Pradesh. On this occasion, Jan Bhavan officials, employees, and their families

presented captivating renditions of Holi songs, which were appreciated by all

present.
