Guwahati, 02 March (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya has conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the joyous occasion of Holi.

In his message, Governor Acharya described Holi as a vibrant celebration reflecting India’s rich cultural ethos and the enduring spirit of unity in diversity. He said the festival, marked by an exuberant display of colours and festivity, symbolizes the triumph of hope over despair and harmony over discord.

Expressing confidence that the festival would further strengthen bonds of goodwill, fraternity and mutual respect among all sections of society, the Governor noted that Holi offers an opportunity to renew social ties, foster understanding and reinforce a shared commitment to peace and collective progress.

Extending his wishes for happiness and prosperity, he urged people to celebrate the festival with joy, responsibility and a spirit of inclusiveness. He expressed hope that the colours of Holi would inspire positivity, bring renewed energy to every household and usher in health, success and well-being for all.
