(HS): The families of the 19 workers who died in the blast in SBL Explosives

Company on Sunday will be paid Rs 75 lakh by the company. The inured will be

paid Rs 25 lakh. The amount will be deposited in the bank as a Fixed Deposit.

The Union Government has already announced Rs 2 lakh and State Government Rs 5

lakh to the families of the deceased.

Nagpur’s

Guardian Minister and Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule

convened a meeting with the Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, Superintendent

of Police (Nagpur Rural) Harsh Poddar and others. Besides other issues the financial

support to the affected in the blast was also discussed.

Bawankule said

that the enquiry through the Divisional Commissioner will be initiated in the

accident and those guilty will not be spared.

Meanwhile,

reports relating to the injured indicate that half of those injured and

hospitalised, have received about 50 per cent burn injuries, which is

dangerous.

The number of

death can rise further.
