Delving into tradition, he highlighted the inaugural day's veneration of Devi Shailaputri, sharing a Sanskrit shloka: Vande vaanchhitalabhaya chandraradhakritashekharam. Vrishaaroodham shooladharaam shailaputreem yashasviniim. This homage salutes the glory-bestowing deity mounted on a bull, wielding a trident, and adorned with a crescent moon, beseeching discipline, serenity, and positive vitality in every life.

Accompanying was a devotional bhajan, with Modi prostrating on behalf of myriad countrymen: Jai Mata Di.
