The IMD issued a yellow alert forecasting thunderstorms, lightning, light rain, and gusts through evening; overcast skies and brisk winds prevailed, with intermittent showers. Variability persists through Friday—max 26-28°C, min 16-18°C; Saturday partially cloudy at 29-31°C max, 14-16°C min—ensuring temperate respite.
Post-rain AQI ameliorated per CPCB: Anand Vihar 198→145, Ashok Vihar 175→139, Bawana 183→147, Rohini 196→140, JNU 129→112, IGI Airport 127, Talkatora Garden 131→119, mitigating pollution across swathes.
