
New Delhi, 19 March (H.S.): Amid West Asia's simmering strife, Air India and Air India Express will jointly operate 48 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the region today—16 regular and 32 charters—including Dubai services, as carriers calibrate operations post-airspace disruptions.
Tata Group's Air India affirmed in a statement that these encompass connectivity to key destinations like Jeddah and Muscat, with Dubai routes reinstated per the emirate's aviation authority. IndiGo echoed resumption to/from Dubai from 1600 hrs DXB time yesterday; Akasa Air pledged gradual restoration following security reviews.
Approximately 2.6 lakh Indians have repatriated since late February.Air India cautioned of prospective Delhi/northern India delays from incessant rains and gusts, urging status checks via https://airindia.com/in/en/manage/flight-status.html and extra transit buffers; airport teams stand ready to assist.
