9-day fair and development exhibition organised

Kheri, 18 March (HS): To mark the completion of nine years of new

construction of the UP government, a 9-day fair and development

exhibition was organised under the aegis of the district administration at the

collectorate on Wednesday. On one hand, cultural programmes captivated

everyone, while the confluence of government schemes gave many gifts to the

beneficiaries. MLA Yogesh Verma, Vinod Shankar Awasthi, District President

Arvind Gupta, DM Durga Shakti Nagpal, CDO Abhishek Kumar inaugurated the

programme by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. A short film focusing on

the completion of nine years of new construction of the government

was seen and heard. Before this, the live streaming of the Chief Minister's

programme organised in the capital Lucknow was seen and heard. CDO Abhishek

Kumar and his team successfully coordinated the programme.

Addressing

the program, MLA Sadar Yogesh Verma expressed his gratitude to the general

public for their immense support. He said that in the last 9 years, work was done

for the upliftment of farmers, providing employment to the unemployed, and

promoting traditional entrepreneurship. Work was done for the self-reliance of

women. Today, the state has emerged as an example of development. BJP District

President Arvind Gupta said that during the 9-year tenure, under the leadership

of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, work has been done for the welfare of the

people of the state and to take the state on the path of progress. Today, there

is rule of law in the state, where people feel safe. Today, the example of law

and order in Uttar Pradesh is given in the whole of India.

At the

event, MLA Vinod Shankar Awasthi detailed the government's achievements,

stating that various public welfare schemes have brought about profound changes

in the lives of the common man. The government has implemented the mantra of

Antyodaya (the welfare of the poor) and has worked to ensure that schemes reach

the last person, thereby improving people's living standards.

During

this period, stalls from all departments were set up. Along with public

representatives and administrative officers, the Chief Minister inspected the

stalls set up by all departments. After receiving information about the

departmental schemes, he directed that visitors to the fair should not only be

informed about government schemes but also be connected to them, making their

lives easier. The nine-day development exhibition organized by the Information

and Public Relations Department at the Collectorate has become a center of attraction

for the public. The exhibition was inaugurated by BJP District President Arvind

Gupta, MLA Yogesh Verma, and Vinod Shankar Awasthi by jointly cutting the

ribbon. DM Durga Shakti Nagpal and Chief Development Officer Abhishek Kumar

were present. Public representatives stated that the exhibition effectively

showcases the development work undertaken under the leadership of PM Narendra

Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, and is providing information about government

schemes to the public. DM Durga Shakti Nagpal stated that the exhibition

showcases the schemes and innovations being implemented for farmers, women,

youth, and underprivileged sections through pictures.

Public

representatives along with the officers gave the gift of schemes to the

beneficiaries, faces lit up: During the program, District President Arvind

Gupta, MLA Yogesh Verma, and Vinod Shankar Awasthi along with DM Durga Shakti

Nagpal and CDO Abhishek Kumar handed over a revolving fund of Rs 3 crore 42

lakh to 1140 self-help groups of the district.

At the

event, five beneficiaries received Ayushman Golden Cards, five received PM

Housing Scheme Urban, five received CM Housing Scheme Rural, six received tool

kits under the Vishwakarma Labor Honor, five received funds under the PM Matru

Vandana Scheme, and 10 received agriculture and garden kits. The Khadi Village

Industries Department also distributed benefits to beneficiaries in the

furniture, dona-pattal, and shuttering trades.

During

this, CMO Dr Santosh Gupta, PD SN Chaurasia, DDO Gajendra Pratap Singh, DC NRLM

JK Mishra, DPO Bharat Prasad, Additional District Information Officer Narendra

Kumar along with all the district level officers and a large number of

beneficiaries were present.
