Kolkata, 14 March (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a searing broadside against West Bengal's ruling All India Trinamool Congress government, declaring that the sentiment has crystallized in the people's hearts: the ruthless regime in Bengal will meet its inevitable end. He asserted that the atmosphere for change in the state is palpable, and nothing can halt it now.

Addressing a BJP rally at Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground, the Prime Minister began his speech by greeting the audience in Bengali. My dear brothers and sisters of West Bengal, I extend my heartfelt wishes from the depths of my heart, he said.

The Prime Minister remarked that the massive turnout at Brigade Parade Ground is testament to Bengal's current mindset. He noted that the crowd's enthusiasm and fervor clearly signal a robust desire for transformation in the state.

PM Modi stated that Brigade Parade Ground's history bears witness: whenever Bengal has steered the nation, this ground has amplified its voice. Protests against British rule from this very venue ignited a nationwide revolution, ultimately ending colonial atrocities and plunder.

The Prime Minister proclaimed that once again, from this hallowed ground, the bugle for a new Bengal revolution has sounded. Change is now etched on Bengal's walls and inscribed in its people's hearts. He vowed the end of jungle raj and the dawn of rule of law, with chants echoing from every corner: Come BJP government, this time for sure.

PM Modi accused TMC of branding rally attendees as thieves, subjecting them to humiliation. He quipped that Bengal's vigilant public knows full well who the real thieves are.

He observed that sensing its ouster, the state government has panicked. Despite desperate efforts, TMC failed to deter people from joining the rally.

The Prime Minister declared the countdown has begun for those who ushered in jungle raj, and the day is not far when rule of law will be restored. Lawbreakers and oppressors will face no mercy; justice will be meted out to the guilty.

PM Modi emphasized that this gale of change is unstoppable. He invoked the blessings of Mahishasura Mardini on BJP and NDA, pledging commitment to realizing the dreams of Bengal's luminaries.

Referencing Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Rabindranath Tagore, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Khudiram Bose, and Syama Prasad Mookerjee, he vowed BJP's government would build the Bengal they envisioned.

The Prime Minister alleged TMC neither works itself nor allows others to. Central schemes remain unimplemented in the state. He guaranteed that upon TMC's exit, every poor family would receive pucca homes—Modi's solemn promise.

PM Modi reflected that Congress, then Communists, and now TMC have successively governed Bengal, yet development has stagnated. Industries shuttered, jobs dwindled under their watch. He charged TMC with brazenly selling jobs. The time has come to reverse this, ensuring Bengal's youth find employment and opportunities within the state.

The Prime Minister recalled Bengal's era of leading India's economic and industrial march, now supplanted by youth denied quality education and jobs, forcing migration elsewhere.

He affirmed BJP's goal: a Bengal offering youth education, employment, and brighter futures, reclaiming its vanguard role in national progress.
