14 March (HS): Under the auspices of the Indo-Nepal Friendship Committee, an
Indo-Nepal friendly Holi gathering and cultural program was organized on
Saturday. The program showcased the India-Nepal bread and daughter relationship
and conveyed a message of mutual harmony. The event was held in a vibrant and
cordial atmosphere at Madhurima Milan Hall in Tulsipur. A large number of
representatives from business organizations from Nepal, along with officials
from various social organizations, participated in the event. The event
conveyed the message of further strengthening the centuries-old cultural and
religious ties between the two countries.
During the program, speakers highlighted the
historical, religious, and cultural ties between India and Nepal, noting that
the greatest force connecting the two countries is Sanatan culture. The
traditions, festivals, and spiritual values of Sanatan Dharma bind the people
of India and Nepal together. Festivals like Holi serve as a medium to promote
mutual love, brotherhood, and social harmony. Artists from Vrindavan presented
captivating devotional and cultural programs, which were greatly appreciated by
the audience. A flower festival was played during the event, filling the entire
atmosphere with devotion and joy.
The ceremony also offered a unique glimpse of
friendship and cultural exchange between India and Nepal. Committee officials
welcomed the Nepalese guests by presenting them with robes and garlands.
Meanwhile, Nepalese representatives honored the Indian guests by presenting them
with Rudraksha garlands. This scene symbolized the intimacy between India and
Nepal and their shared faith in the eternal tradition.
Prominently present in the program were BJP leader
Vishal Mishra, MLA Kailash Nath Shukla, NMO district president Radheshyam Verma
and president of Deukhuri Industry and Commerce Association Lamhi, Dang (Nepal)
Kamal Jang Singh Thakuri, Keshavraj Pokharel, women vice president Sharda
Subedi, general secretary Hari Thapa, Basant Kumar Bhandari, secretary Ganesh
Ghimire, Lumakant Bohra, Anil Kumar Mantri, Shanta Khanal, Bhishmaraj Gaire,
Baburam Bhusal, Narayan, businessman Pintu Gupta, Shivu Khanal and officials of
various social organizations.
At the end of the program, District Pracharak of
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Jitendra Kumar, while expressing his gratitude to
all the guests, representatives from Nepal and the people present, said that
such events work to further strengthen the friendship, cultural unity and
eternal values between India and Nepal.
