
Amaravati, 14 March (H.S.): Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Saturday celebrated the 13th foundation day of the Jana Sena Party (JSP) during his visit to tribal areas in Alluri Sitarama Raju district.
On the occasion, he unfurled the party flag at Onuru village, where several youth and tribal members joined the party. The Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the new entrants by offering them party scarves.
Pawan Kalyan, accompanied by Minister Nadendla Manohar, Araku parliamentary constituency in-charge Gangulaiah and party workers, is currently touring tribal regions of the district.
Local tribal women welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister by performing the traditional Dhimsa dance. During the visit, he also inspected an Anganwadi centre in Onuru village and interacted with children.
He later distributed nutritious food to pregnant women as part of welfare outreach activities.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu extended his greetings to Pawan Kalyan on the occasion and appreciated the party’s role in the state’s development.
State Minister Nara Lokesh also conveyed his wishes to the Jana Sena Party leadership and party workers.
