New Delhi, 14 March (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the Ayushman Arogya Mandir at a community gathering in Sahipur village, Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency, dedicating this state-of-the-art health facility to public service on Saturday.
In a social media post on X, she affirmed that the center will deliver accessible, high-quality healthcare to local residents, encompassing free doctor consultations, essential diagnostic tests, medications, vaccinations, and primary treatments.
Over the past year, 371 such Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have fortified the commitment to extend dignified healthcare proximate to every citizen's doorstep. These hubs provide gratis outpatient consultations and vital drugs, alongside 14 rudimentary screenings like blood tests, glucose checks, and blood pressure monitoring, plus over 79 outsourced specialized diagnostics.
Early detection services target diabetes, hypertension, and cancers of the oral cavity, breast, and cervix, complemented by maternal and neonatal care, immunization drives, and e-Sanjeevani telemedicine for expert consultations when required.
To nurture holistic well-being, the facilities offer yoga sessions and lifestyle counseling, ensuring comprehensive support for preventive and curative needs. This initiative underscores a proactive stride toward universal health equity in the national capital.
