a women's empowerment conference

April 15 (HS): On Wednesday, half the population thanked Prime Minister
Narendra Modi for the Nari Shakti Vandan Act by holding a scooter rally.
Following the rally, a Nari Shakti Vandan conference was held in the city's
South Assembly. A large number of women gathered at the KP Ground, carrying
placards that read, Thank you PM Modi, Empowered Women,
Empowered India, Respect for Women Power, Upliftment of the Nation,
Increased Participation from Parliament to the Assembly,
Indian Women Will Become Empowered, Women's Participation in
Nation Building, Women's Rights are the Foundation of the
Country, One in Every Three Women Should Now Have Strong
Participation in Parliament, and chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai,
Vande Mataram, and Jai Shri Ram, marched to KN Katju.
Cabinet
Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, BJP Prayagraj Metropolitan President Sanjay
Gupta, and former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi jointly flagged off the scooter
rally, which concluded at KN Katju Ground. Addressing the Nari Shakti Vandan
conference that followed, Chief Guest Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi
said, From the Margins to the Mainstream—the journey of women's power has
now reached a new milestone. With the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, women have
not only gained respect and opportunity, but also the power to make decisions
and participate in politics. The Nari Shakti Vandan Act is a significant
decision of the 21st century. The country's Parliament is on the verge of
creating history. In 2023, when the new Parliament building was constructed, we
took the first step in the form of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. To ensure its
timely implementation and women's participation strengthen our democracy, a
special meeting of the Budget Session of Parliament is scheduled to be held on
April 16th, and for this, we receive the blessings of millions of mothers and
sisters across the country. Congratulations to all the women of India on the
arrival of a new era.

President Sanjay Gupta said that women across the country are speaking out on
this issue. Their dreams of reaching the Assembly and Lok Sabha are about to
gain new wings. Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani said that a positive environment has
been created in the country. From the President to the Prime Minister, wherever
women have held positions in our country, they have distinguished themselves.
Even today, in our country, women are holding such important positions, from
the President to the Finance Minister. They have enhanced both the dignity and
pride of the country.
The
conference was conducted by former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi. During the
program, the guests present on the stage were welcomed and greeted by
presenting them with bouquets and wearing clothes. The program started with
lighting of lamps. A large number of women including Shashi Varshney, Geeta
Vishwakarma, Kirtika Agarwal, Anamika Chaudhary, Vandana Sharma, Shikha
Rastogi, Archana Shukla, Councilor Kiran Jaiswal, Deepika Patel, Durgesh
Nandini, Chandra Ahluwalia, Kanchanlata Kushwaha, Neelam Chaturvedi, Vandana
Sharma, Shobhita Srivastava etc. were present in the conference.
