New Delhi, 12 March (H.S.): The Lok Sabha witnessed intense pandemonium on Thursday as opposition members disrupted proceedings on the fourth day of the Budget session's second phase, prompting Speaker Om Birla to adjourn the House just two minutes after commencement until noon.

Speaker Birla urged opposition lawmakers to allow Question Hour to proceed, but persistent sloganeering forced the suspension of business.Notably, the opposition had moved a motion on Wednesday to remove Birla from the Speaker's post, which was summarily rejected by voice vote.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju reacted by stating that Congress stood fully exposed, having walked out before voting on the no-confidence motion.
