March (HS): A collision between a tractor trolley and two motorbikes on the
national highway here killed three persons and wounded one, according to
authorities on Wednesday. The incident occurred on National Highway 24 near Atara
village at midnight. According to Sadar Kotwali Station House Officer Jitendra
Pratap Singh, a farmer from Mawai village was riding home in a tractor-trolley
when it collided with a motorcycle near Atara village in the Jalalpur Panwara area
of district. The crash was so strong that it flung the two motorcyclists into
the road, killing them instantly. The victims have been identified as Mohammad
Ahad (20) and Arbaaz (16), both from Inayatpur village.
A man named
Raju, a Mawai village native, was also hurt in the collision and sent to the
district hospital. Following the accident, the tractor driver lost control of
the vehicle, which crashed into another motorbike, killing rider Amit (36), a
Chhibramau local, on the scene. Police said the remains had been sent for a
post-mortem.
