The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, greenlit a revised capital cost of ₹3,630.77 crore today for the 31.42 km greenfield highway connecting Jewar International Airport to the Delhi-Faridabad-Ballabhgarh-Sohna spur of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

Executed on Hybrid Annuity Mode across Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, this corridor promises high-speed access from South Delhi, Faridabad, and Gurugram.

Strategic Connectivity Edge

Intersecting the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, and Dedicated Freight Corridor, the route fosters multimodal logistics convergence. About 11 km will rise as an elevated highway—a critical DND-Ballabhgarh Bypass to Jewar segment—adding ₹689.24 crore, with Haryana pledging ₹450 crore.

Urban and Economic Catalyst

Aligned with Faridabad Master Plan 2031 for high-density growth, the project slashes travel times, eases congestion, and turbocharges NCR's logistics and economic vitality. It positions Jewar Airport as a pivotal hub, driving sustainable urban expansion and freight efficiency. This elevated lifeline not only bridges infrastructure gaps but accelerates regional transformation, ensuring seamless mobility for passengers and cargo alike.
