March (HS): An 11-member South Korean delegation reached Ayodhya on Tuesday and
paid homage at the memorial of Princess Suriratna (Queen Hlo Hwang-ok of Gaya
State of South Korea). During this, Mayor Mahant Girish Pati Tripathi along
with his wife Rajlaxmi Tripathi welcomed the Korean delegation by presenting
them with clothes and a statue of Lord Shri Ram. During this, the Mayor
promised all possible cooperation in the development of Rani Ho Memorial Park.
Recently, the memorial has been taken over by the Municipal Corporation from
the Tourism Department.
An
11-member delegation from the Republic of South Korea, led by Incheon Lee Kwan
Association President Lee Jin Ok, reached Ayodhya on Tuesday to refresh the
memories related to their paternal grandmother, Queen Heo. In a conversation
through an interpreter, the delegation expressed the need for development of a
place of worship at the Queen Heo Memorial Park. The Mayor promised all
possible cooperation in the development of the memorial. He suggested
correspondence for this through the Indian Embassy. The delegation informed
that a hundred-member delegation will come to Ayodhya on October 6 to pay
homage to Queen Heo. They invited the Mayor to attend the event being held in
South Korea in April.
