
New Delhi, 06 February (H.S.): The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) unveiled the compendium Pitch Perfect Australia-India: Perfect Conditions for a $100 Billion Partnership on Friday, spotlighting real-world India-Australia trade success stories to propel bilateral economic ties.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry disclosed that the launch drew policymakers, diplomats, industry titans, and academics, fostering deliberations on the next frontier of economic collaboration. This endeavor assumes pivotal significance in fortifying and amplifying gains from the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA).
Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal lauded IIFT's instrumental role in orchestrating the initiative, deeming it profoundly pertinent for policy architects, industrialists, and academic circles alike. These case studies furnish empirical testimony to how trade accords have spawned novel opportunities, which enterprises have astutely harnessed for advancement, he articulated.
