Chennai, 03 February (H.S.) : The fourth day of the Dream Sports Championship Table Tennis 2026 concluded with high-intensity U-15 league matches at the TNPESU in Chennai, marking the transition to the much-anticipated Super League stage.

According to a release, the competition featured a mix of dramatic five-set encounters and dominant straight-game victories, showcasing the depth of young talent in Indian table tennis.

In the boys’ category, BHATT DEV emerged victorious in a hard-fought five-set thriller against KUMAR HARDIK, while VOHRA TRIJAL secured a narrow 3-2 win over GOSAR AHAN with an 11-9 scoreline in the final set. Additionally, M SATWIK displayed remarkable composure to overcome BANERJEE SOUSWARYA in a tense finish.

Parallel to these nail-biting finishes, several players displayed clinical dominance. ACHARYA AARAV, JANA RUDRANIL, and SENGUPTA SOMDEV all registered convincing 3-0 wins to solidify their standings. In the girls’ competition, MAHATO AKSHITA staged a spectacular comeback, defeating DUA AVNI in five sets after initially losing the first two games.

Another standout performance came from DHAR SHREYA, who achieved a rare and perfect 3-0 victory by winning all three sets with an 11-0 scoreline. Other notable winners included SONI RADHIKA, GODIL DANIYA, and BASAK SUBHOMITA, all of whom transitioned smoothly into the next phase of the championship.

With the preliminary league stage complete, the tournament now enters the Super League phase, which brings together the top qualifiers for a more rigorous and competitive format. The elite field for this stage includes RAY AHONA and SRI SHAANVI M among the girls, and RAJAVELU AKASH and NILAY PATTEKAR among the boys.

Tournament organizers have noted that the intensity is expected to rise as the championship moves toward the knockout rounds.
