February 4; Boot Camp to Provide National Preparation
Uttar Pradesh youth to enhance state's pride, two-day boot camp to prepare for
North Regional Skills Competition
Lucknow, 03 Feb (HS): Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,
the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously taking effective steps towards
making the youth self-reliant, employable and capable of global competition. In
this sequence, under the guidance of Kapil Dev Agrawal, Minister of State
(Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) is
preparing for the next phase of the state-level skills competition under the
India Skills Competition 2025-26.
On this occasion, Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal said that the Yogi government's
goal is to empower every youth in the state with skills, confidence, and
employability. The India Skills Competition provides a powerful platform for
young people to showcase their talents. Through the boot camp, participants are
being prepared to meet global standards, enabling Uttar Pradesh to establish a
strong presence at the national level.
He said that Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is committed to making the
youth self-reliant through skill, competition and entrepreneurship and in the
coming times, the youth of the state will showcase their talent in the country
and abroad. This initiative is an important and concrete step towards making
Uttar Pradesh a leading state on the national and international skill map.
Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission Director Pulkit Khare stated that 40
winning participants from 20 different skill trades who excelled in the
state-level skills competition will be honored with certificates and prizes at
the Skill Development Mission Headquarters campus in Lucknow on February 4.
Additionally, a two-day special boot camp will be organized in Lucknow on February
4 and 5 to prepare these selected participants for the upcoming North Regional
Skills Competition.
During the boot camp, participants will be provided with advanced technical
training, practical sessions, competition-based exercises, time management,
presentation skills and industry-oriented guidance in their respective skill
areas to enable them to perform better in national and inter-state level
competitions.
