28 Feb (HS): On National Science Day (February 28), Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath paid respect to Bharat Ratna Sir C. V. Raman. Calling
the discovery of the Raman Effect a source of national pride, he
thanked scientists and researchers and urged them to maintain their desire to
make India self-sufficient and developed via innovation.

Raman.

for Scientists: He praised all scientists and researchers who contributed to
the nation's development.

for a Self-sufficient India: Yogi believes that with the inspiration obtained
by the discovery of the Raman effect, the resolve for a developed India may be
enhanced via innovation and research.

a post on X, he stated, “On National Science Day, heartfelt congratulations and
best wishes to all the country's scientists, researchers, and citizens of the
state who have contributed to nation-building. On this day, celebrated in
memory of the Raman Effect, discovered by the great scientist,
Nobel Prize winner and Bharat Ratna Sir C.V. Raman, let us all
strengthen our resolve for a self-reliant and developed India
through innovation and research.”
