26 Feb (HS): To further increase the industrial pace and investment of Uttar
Pradesh and to make the state a one trillion dollar economy, the four-day visit
to Singapore and Japan under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
along with Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Industrial Development Minister
Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was unprecedentedly successful.
This
visit by the Chief Minister and ministers demonstrates that India and Uttar
Pradesh have a highly positive image globally. Transparent policies, improved
law and order, and robust infrastructure have boosted investor confidence. MoUs
worth Rs. 1.5 lakh crore and investment proposals worth Rs. 2.5 lakh crore in
Singapore and Japan demonstrate Uttar Pradesh's strong presence on the global
investment map. This visit will be a decisive and historic step toward
achieving a one trillion dollar economy.
On
the final day of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's four-day visit to Singapore
and Japan, Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta
Nandi, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Finance Minister Suresh
Khanna, visited a hydrogen facility in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. The team
observed the advanced power-to-gas system in operation and commended the
pioneering work being done in green hydrogen and clean energy technologies.
Yamanashi's innovative approach provides valuable insights for accelerating the
sustainable energy transition and clean mobility solutions.
Uttar
Pradesh is strongly committed to advancing green hydrogen, sustainable energy
solutions, and a future driven by innovation, self-reliance, and environmental
responsibility. Minister Nandi, along with the Chief Minister, participated in
the Uttar Pradesh Investment Roadshow in Yamanashi to elevate the relationship in
the areas of investment and innovation.
Minister
Nandi, accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, met with Kotaro Nagasaki,
Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to
deepen cooperation in industry, tourism, and vocational education, with a
strong focus on green hydrogen, clean energy innovation, and technology
exchange.
Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that IIT Kanpur is actively developing a center
of excellence in green hydrogen to advance Prime Minister Narendra Modi's
vision. Governor Kotaro Nagasaki proposed visiting Uttar Pradesh in August with
a delegation of 200 CEOs, which would further accelerate industrial
partnerships and investment.
Minister
Nandi, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, rode Japan's advanced
SCMAGLEV train in Yamanashi. The train reached a speed of 501 kilometers per
hour. When technology moves at this speed, the future seems closer than ever.
Minister
Nandy, accompanied by the Chief Minister, visited Fanuc Corporation in Yamanashi
and interacted with CEO and President Kenji Yamaguchi. During the visit, they
witnessed the shop floor, cutting-edge technology in robotics and Industry 4.0.
Their unwavering focus on R&D is a prime example of innovation and global
leadership.
