23 Feb (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with Uttar Pradesh
Government's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, witnessed
a detailed presentation on skill development and training by ITE at ITE College
Central, Singapore, and toured the college's state-of-the-art training
campuses. Important Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) were signed on the
occasion to strengthen mutual cooperation in the areas of technical and
vocational education, aviation skills, and industry-aligned training. This
initiative will provide strong support to the rapidly developing infrastructure
and employment ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.
During the meeting, assurances were given for the effective progress of these
agreements and their speedy and successful implementation. Following this, the
participants toured the campus and the Aviation Hub's state-of-the-art
facilities and gained detailed information about advanced and practical models
of industry-integrated skills development. 3 MoUs worth Rs 6,650 crore signed with Universal Success Group on the first
day of Singapore visit.
Ambitious projects to be developed in Jewar Airport area, Kanpur-Lucknow
Highway and Noida/Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh government achieved a major
success on the very first day of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's visit to
Singapore. Universal Success Group signed three important memorandums of
understanding (MOUs) for investments totaling Rs 6,650 crore in the state.
These investments will be in strategic sectors such as group housing,
logistics, and hyperscale data centers. These three projects will also create
over 20,000 jobs.
These three MoUs signed on the first day of the Singapore visit are being
considered an important achievement towards strengthening the state's economy,
giving a new direction to urban development and ensuring employment generation
on a large scale.
An international-themed township will be developed on 100 acres of land
adjacent to Jewar Airport in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development
Authority (YEIDA) area. The project is proposed to involve an investment of Rs 3,500
crore and, upon completion, will generate employment for approximately 12,000
people. The project is scheduled to be operational in 2027. This project will
provide a new identity to the rapidly developing urban area surrounding Jewar
International Airport.
The second project involves the development of a logistics park on 50 acres of
land on the Kanpur-Lucknow Highway. This project involves a proposed investment
of Rs 650 crore and is expected to generate approximately 7,500 jobs. It is
also scheduled to be commissioned in 2027.
The third project will establish a hyperscale data center park with 40 MW of IT
power capacity on 10 acres of land in the Noida/Greater Noida area. This
project will involve an investment of Rs 2,500 crore and generate employment
for approximately 1,500 people. According to the MoU, the project is scheduled
to be operational by 2028. This investment will be a significant step toward
establishing Uttar Pradesh as a leading data center hub in the country.
