Guwahati, 22 February (HS): Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia announced that the party will organise a statewide Jan Ashirwad Yatra from February 28 to March 9, covering 34 Assembly constituencies ahead of the upcoming elections. The yatra will be flagged off by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma from Gupteshwar Devalaya in Dhekiajuli.

Minister Ashok Singhal has been appointed Chief Convenor, while Union Minister Pabitra Margherita will serve as Co-Convenor. The party aims to reach nearly one lakh people daily.

Saikia also informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam on March 13 and 14, and a major youth rally will be held on March 15 at Khanapara Field.-----------
