Announced by the Prime Minister's Office, the itinerary underscores Gujarat's pivotal role in India's civilizational continuity, industrial growth, and global partnerships. The journey commences in Somnath on the evening of January 10, where at around 8 PM, PM Modi will participate in Omkar Mantra chanting at the iconic temple, followed by a captivating drone show.

On January 11 at 9:45 AM, he will lead the Shaurya Yatra—a ceremonial procession honoring warriors who defended the temple, symbolized by 108 horses evoking valor and sacrifice. At 10:15 AM, the Prime Minister will perform darshan and pooja, then address a public function at 11 AM as part of the Somnath Swabhiman Parv, commemorating 1,000 years since the 1026 invasion and 75 years of post-independence restoration.

Transitioning to economic momentum, PM Modi will arrive in Rajkot later that day for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Kutch and Saurashtra. At 1:30 PM, he will inaugurate the trade show and exhibition, followed by the conference launch at 2 PM at Marwadi University, where he will deliver a keynote address, announce 14 greenfield GIDC smart estates, and open the GIDC medical device park—focusing sectors like ceramics, green energy, and tourism.

From Rajkot, he proceeds to Ahmedabad at around 5:15 PM to inaugurate the remaining stretch of Phase 2 of the Ahmedabad Metro from Sector 10A to Mahatma Mandir station, advancing the city's seamless urban mobility.

The visit culminates on January 12 with bilateral engagements alongside German Federal Chancellor H.E. Mr. Friedrich Merz. At 9:30 AM, the leaders will visit Sabarmati Ashram, then join the vibrant International Kite Festival at Sabarmati Riverfront around 10 AM. Formal talks from 11:15 AM at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, will review the 25-year milestone of the India-Germany Strategic Partnership, charting paths for deepened collaboration.
