Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Rajkot on January 11, 2026, to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra region, injecting fresh momentum into investment and industrial growth across western Gujarat. Scheduled at Marwadi University, the two-day event from January 11-12 will spotlight key sectors such as ceramics, engineering, ports and logistics, fisheries, petrochemicals, agro and food processing, minerals, green energy ecosystems, skill development, startups, MSMEs, tourism, and culture.

At approximately 1:30 PM on January 11, the Prime Minister will launch the conference's Trade Show, followed by the formal inauguration of the Regional Conference itself around 2 PM. He will address the gathering, highlighting Gujarat's decentralized development model, and announce the establishment of 14 new greenfield smart estates under the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation Limited (GIDC).

Additionally, he will inaugurate the GIDC medical device park in Rajkot, underscoring the state's commitment to innovation-driven growth and sustainable employment.This conference, dedicated exclusively to the 12 districts of Kutch and Saurashtra, builds on the resounding success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

Partner countries including Japan, South Korea, Rwanda, and Ukraine will participate, fostering global engagement and region-specific industrial advancement. It forms part of a broader initiative featuring four Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences across the state: the inaugural North Gujarat edition in Mehsana on October 9-10, 2025; the current Kutch-Saurashtra event; and upcoming gatherings for South Gujarat in Surat on April 9-10, 2026, and Central Gujarat in Vadodara on June 10-11, 2026.

Aligned with the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, these conferences extend the Vibrant Gujarat legacy by promoting ease of doing business, attracting strategic investments, and empowering regional economies. They serve as platforms to showcase achievements, unveil initiatives, and co-create Gujarat's growth narrative, with key outcomes set to feature prominently at the next Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in January 2027.
