Pune, 30 Jan (HS):

Enquiry into the accidental death of DCM Ajit Pawar has gained pace with a

special team of the Forensic Experts visiting the accident site on Friday. Ajit

Pawar with four others died in a plane crash in Baramai on January 28.

The Forensic Experts

collected samples from the accident site in the presence of local police. The

Black Box of the crashed aircraft was already taken in possession on Thursday.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is investigating the cause of the

accident.

The rear side of the

crash aircraft and other remaining parts were carefully examined by the

visiting team. Preliminary report indicates that the pilot had problems in seeing

the runway, which caused the accident.
