Prayagraj,

24 Jan (HS): On the occasion of Uttar Pradesh's foundation day, Industrial

Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi of the Uttar Pradesh government

attended the Developed Uttar Pradesh - Developed India ceremony

held at the Ganga Pandal in Sector 3, Magh Mela, as the chief guest. Artists

presented cultural programs on the occasion. Minister Nandi also honored those

who have achieved remarkable work in various fields. While

presiding over the function, Minister Nandi said that it is a matter of pride

for all of us that when we are celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day, guests and

devotees from all over the country and the world are present in this Sangam

area for the Magh Mela, the festival of religion, faith and tradition.

Prime

Minister Narendra Modi has embraced the mantra of development with heritage.

Drawing inspiration from this mantra, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has worked

to advance this campaign. Minister Nandi said that Uttar Pradesh is not only

India's most populous state, but it has also always been at the forefront of

culture, history, and prosperity.

A

confluence of faith, devotion, and culture is taking place on the sacred land

of Prayagraj, the holy land of pilgrimage! Recently, on the occasion of Basant

Panchami, over 35.6 million devotees took a holy dip, setting a new record!

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the arrangements,

security, and extensive facilities provided by the fair administration are

providing devotees with a divine spiritual experience! This is an occasion when

the cultural heritage and consciousness of Uttar Pradesh are being spread on a

large scale!

Minister

Nandi said that today, Uttar Pradesh, with its cultural and historical glory,

is galloping on the expressway of modernity and development. On one side are

the magnificent temple of Lord Shri Ram and the divine corridor of Baba

Vishwanath. On the other, Uttar Pradesh is moving forward with solid steps

towards becoming a one trillion dollar economy. Under the guidance of Prime

Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a

confluence of cultural, economic, and industrial development is flowing in the

state.

The

new Uttar Pradesh of New India is steadily moving forward on the path of

development with new energy and new speed! Our government is fully committed to

making Uttar Pradesh the leader of India's economy! Minister Nandi said that

there was a time when jungle raj prevailed under the SP, BSP, and Congress

governments. Both development and heritage were eclipsed. Even today, people

shudder to hear the stories of that era - Someone sowed a field, and

someone else harvested the crop. Someone else owned a house, but someone else

occupied it! Criminals had government protection, and extortion money was

openly collected from businessmen. There was an atmosphere of fear, corruption,

and anarchy all around!

But

since 2017, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a role model for law and order! Some

criminals have gone far, some far beyond their means, from where they are

impossible to return! Just yesterday, in Chitrakoot, a businessman's

13-year-old son was kidnapped and murdered! Within 24 hours, the criminals who

carried out this daring crime were killed in an encounter! This is proof of our

zero tolerance towards crime!

As

a result of this changed legal system, top industrial groups from across the

country and the world are now attracted to invest in Uttar Pradesh! The new

Uttar Pradesh of New India is gaining recognition as the country's growth engine.

Divisional Commissioner Soumya Agarwal, District Magistrate Manish Verma, Chief

Development Officer Harshika Singh, and other dignitaries were present on this

occasion.
