Guwahati, 24 January (HS): The Assam Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a statewide public outreach initiative to prepare its election manifesto, Sankalp Patra, through direct citizen participation ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly elections.

From January 25, specially equipped “Suggestion Vehicles” will tour all Assembly constituencies to collect feedback and suggestions from citizens and stakeholder groups. The campaign will be formally flagged off by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma at Khanapara in Guwahati.

The BJP aims to gather over two lakh public suggestions through more than 75 video vans deployed across Assam, along with a dedicated helpline number, 7002126126, for missed-call submissions.-----------
