Lucknow,

22 Jan (HS): Uttar Pradesh will celebrate its Statehood Day on January 24. On

this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended his greetings in

advance and shot of a letter to the people of the state. In this letter, Chief

Minister Yogi stated that Uttar Pradesh, once considered a sick state, has

today become the growth engine of India's development. He added that with

determination, he has established the rule of law and good governance.

Post

penned by him on X, reads as follows: “My respected citizens of the state, our

state, with its boundless potential, has broken the shackles of struggle and

policy apathy and transformed from a sick state to the growth engine of India's

development. With unwavering determination, we have established the rule of law

and good governance. We have lifted over 6 crore people out of poverty with the

goal of zero poverty. We are celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day on January 24. This

is the time to reiterate the resolve for a developed Uttar Pradesh. With our

combined efforts, this journey from resolve to accomplishment will continue to

remain dynamic. Advance greetings to all the citizens of the state on Uttar

Pradesh Day.”

In

his message, CM Yogi said, My respected citizens, our state with immense

potential has broken the shackles of conflict and policy apathy and has

transformed from a sick state into the growth engine of India's development.

With determination, we have established the rule of law and good governance. We

have accelerated development by ending the reign of fear of the mafia that

flourished under the protection of the ruling party. Investors who once used to

shy away in the name of poor law and order are now competing to invest.

CM

Yogi said, In the agricultural sector, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the

backbone of the country's food security. The 'seed to market' system and record

DBT payments have increased the income of farmers. There has been unprecedented

expansion of industries. The pain of migration and the sting of unemployment

are coming to an end. Labor reforms, de-regulation, MSME, skill development,

startups and ODOP have created large-scale employment, taking the state from

local to global.

CM

Yogi said, There has been a historic increase in women's labour force

participation. The government is ensuring financial assistance from the birth

of daughters till their marriage. There is a pension scheme for destitute

women, the elderly and the disabled. Services have become more accessible

through the expansion of medical infrastructure and health-tech. The amazing

connectivity of land, water and air has given a new impetus to trade, tourism

and investment. A golden saga of cultural renaissance is being written from

Ayodhya-Kashi-Mathura to Sambhal. Today, the shine of Swadeshi is clearly

visible in our festivals.

CM

Yogi said, With the goal of zero poverty, we have lifted more than 6

crore people out of poverty. The double engine government has led the state

from 'bottleneck to breakthrough', 'revenue deficit to revenue surplus' and

'nuisance to celebration'. We are celebrating Uttar Pradesh Day on January 24.

It is time to reiterate the resolve for a highly developed Uttar Pradesh. With

the concerted efforts of all of us, this journey from resolve to accomplishment

will remain dynamic. Advance greetings to all the people of the state on Uttar

Pradesh Day.
