Lucknow,

14 Jan (HS): Narendra Thakur, Akhil Bhartiya Sah Prachar Pramukh, Rashtriya

Swayamsevak Sangh, said that there should be no discrimination of any kind in

Hindu society. The Sangh does not believe in discrimination, but it exists

within society. We must rise above social discrimination, caste discrimination,

untouchability, linguistic and regional differences, and stand together. Only

then can we unite. Thakur was addressing a Hindu conference in the courtyard of

the Trimbakeshwar Mahadev Temple in the Vrindavan Scheme here on Wednesday.

Narendra

Thakur said that our religious texts do not mention untouchability in the name

of caste. Untouchability is a wicked practice that emerged during the period of

slavery. Therefore, no caste is recognized within the Sangh. Sangh volunteers

do not believe in caste. Thakur said that the second Sarsanghchalak of the

Sangh, Madhav Rao Sadashivram Golwalkar, tried to bring all the saints together

on one platform. Through the saints, he proclaimed Hindva: Sodara

Sarve. All Hindus are brothers. Hindus cannot fall. Everyone is equal.

The Sangh has strived to eradicate the evils that have plagued society. Only

then can our society become one. If we are to walk together and unite, we must

rise above caste discrimination, untouchability, and linguistic differences.

The

Sangh will not solve all problems: Narendra Thakur said that in 1948, an

attempt was made to eliminate the Sangh. In 1975, an attempt was made to

eliminate the Sangh by imposing the Emergency. Most Sangh members went to jail

to protect democracy. Today, the entire society stands together to support the

Sangh. We carry out Sangh work in more than 100,000 places. Sangh volunteers

are running 130,000 service programs to change the face of society. There are

more than 32 all-India organizations. Sangh volunteers are active in every

sphere of social life, but our society is very large. This work needs to be

done by the entire society. The Sangh will not solve all problems. The Sangh's

work is to awaken people. The Sangh has been working for personality development

for 100 years. Due to the Sangh's efforts, an environment has been created in

society.

India

will govern the world, according to Thakur, until Hindu civilization

acknowledges itself - who we were, who our forefathers are, and what our

culture is. The society cannot advance until this is understood. People from

all around the world would travel to India for education. We were mighty and

affluent. He stated that only when we are proud of our life principles and use

them in our daily lives will our country become a capable, powerful, and

affluent nation in the globe. Only then would India provide the world with

knowledge and guidance.

America,

Russia and China will not make us great: Thakur said that every person should have

a feeling of patriotism. Doing good work for the society is patriotism in

today's time. How can we take those who are left behind forward? How can the

society progress if there is poverty and illiteracy in the society? We should

do something for the country and society selflessly. Our life should be based

on ourselves only then we will become self-reliant. America, Russia and China

will not make us great. They will try to sell their goods. We will have to use

things made in our country only then we can make economic progress.

At

the Hindu conference, Chinmaya Mission Lucknow head Kaushik Chaitanya said that

a society that turns away from its duties gradually becomes entangled in the

chains of slavery. This is why the Shakas, Huns, Mughals, and the British ruled

over us. Even today, the self-respect of Mother India is criticized. Ram is

called imaginary. On this occasion, Department Pracharak Anil, Lucknow South

Division Incharge Dhirendra, Co-Part Incharge Siddharth, Division Pracharak

Daulat, and Division Co-Preacher Pracharak Ramakant were prominently present.
